Pernaton Warming Gel contains capsaicin, which is the active ingredient in chilli peppers which makes them hot. Capsaicin is used to support muscle or joint pain as it causes a sensation of heat that activates certain nerve cells. With regular use of capsaicin, this heating effect can reduce the amount of chemical that acts as a pain messenger in the body.
Pernaton Cooling Gel provides a cooling sensation and is recommended for inflammation and swelling. Pernaton Warming Gel has a sensation of warmth and is recommended for warming up and promoting blood circulation.
No, Pernaton does not contain ibruprofen.
Pernaton is compatible with other medications. No reports of relevant interactions are known to date however, we always recommend consulting with your GP before use if taking other medication.
